How this works
At home, this page opens normally. Away from home, the shared family code protects it. It
talks to Claude through the subscription on the computer in this house, so there is
nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.
Your conversations stay in this browser. They are not stored on the household computer.
Anyone who can open this browser can read them, and clearing its site data deletes them.
Claude can keep useful notes and files for you in a private folder on the household
computer. Your browser connects to that folder with a random identifier; your name is not
sent with it.
Claude can search and read public web pages. It cannot control the computer, run shell
commands, message people, buy anything, or see files outside your private folder.
Fast answers quickest, Balanced suits most questions, and Serious spends more time
checking difficult or important work. All three use Claude Opus 5.
The microphone and read-aloud voice belong to your browser. No sound is sent to the
computer in this house. Your phone or browser provider may process speech.
Sometimes Claude will say it needs a break. The page keeps enough capacity free for the
subscription owner's work and becomes available again on its own.
